On the fourth anniversary of the Paris terrorist attacks, this Policy Dialogue discussed the impact that the attacks had on those involved, including the families of victims and survivors, frontline actors such as ambulance crews and police, as well as bystanders. It also focused on the rights of the victims of terrorism, compensation systems across Europe and how EU member states can strengthen their national legislation, procedures and practices to better protect and support victims and their families.
A minute’s silence was held to honour the victims killed in the Paris attacks and other such attacks in Europe and beyond.
