Clara Sophie Cramer is a Project Assistant for “Connecting Europe,” a joint initiative by the EPC and Stiftung Mercator dedicated to connecting civil society organisations with the Brussels policy community. Clara’s fields of expertise include democracy, rule of law and solidarity promotion within the EU, as well as EU security and defence policy.

Clara is a former intern to EPC’s Connecting Europe Programme. Prior to becoming Programme Assistant, she also gained professional experience at the European Council on Foreign Relations, Germany's Permanent Mission to the EU and the U.S. Department of State. Clara holds a Master's in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations.
