We are delighted that, EPC President
Herman Van Rompuy and Professor Brigid Laffan, will join EPC Director of Studies Janis A. Emmanouilidis and EPC Chief Executive Fabian Zuleeg to  share their analysis of the European Union’s (EU) crisis management over the last three months and look forward to the challenges ahead. Is this really – or could it be – a major turning point for European integration? Given where we are now, is the EU likely to return to ‘business as usual’ when the crisis is (gradually) overcome, or will something have changed fundamentally? How has the Union and how have the member states performed over the past months. Where do we stand at this point in time and what should we expect in the weeks to come? Looking further into the future, how will the multiple consequences of the COVID-19 crisis develop? What are the longer-term socio-economic effects and the potential political, geo-economic and geo-political consequences?
