We are delighted that at this week’s Update,
Constanze Stelzenmüller, Senior Fellow at Brookings, and David O’Sullivan, Chair of EPC Governing Board and former EU Ambassador to the EU, will join EPC Director of Studies, Janis A. Emmanouilidis and EPC Chief Executive Fabian Zuleeg to  share their analysis of the state of affairs and prospects for transatlantic relations. What impact has the COVID-19 crisis had on the transatlantic relationship and how might the situation evolve in the coming months in the run-up to the US elections in November? How will the results of the US elections – leading either to a re-election of Donald Trump or a potential victory for Joe Biden – affect the future relationship across the Atlantic? How will the relationship of the US and the EU with China evolve and how divergent will their approaches be? And what are the prospects for multilateralism and how might the US election results affect the global order in the years to come?
