Decarbonisation of energy intensive industries

Marco Giuli and Stefan Sipka have contributed to the first meeting of the European Commission’s high level working group on energy-intensive industries, aimed at the preparation of  an Industrial Transformation Master Plan for climate-neutral industry by 2050. The first meeting focused on market creation for low carbon and circular products, financing the uptake of carbon neutral solutions, and energy resources.

Black Sea security

The development of the EU Resettlement Framework

Katharina Bamberg was invited to give a presentation on the EU Resettlement Framework at a panel discussion organised by Ghent University and hosted by MEP Kathleen Van Brempt. The discussion centred on resettlement in an international and European context, on the contentious points of the EU Resettlement Framework, as well as on the future development of resettlement at the European level.

Advocating Europe
19 March 2019

Julian Rappold co-authored two blog posts for the Connecting Europe partner Advocate Europe, an idea challenge for civil society initiatives throughout Europe. In a first blog post, together with Julia Hoffmann, project leader of Advocate Europe, he points out why civil society ideas belong in policy conversations on the European level more than ever. In the second post, they give hints on how civil society actors can make their ideas heard in these policy conversations.
