Not out of the woods yet... - Post-Summit Analysis

The 18-19 June European Council reached agreement on the key issues on its agenda: the nomination of the next European Commission President, the “legally binding guarantees” to pave the way for a second Irish referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, and the “principles’ to govern a new framework for financial supervision. But this EPC analysis warns that the decisions taken at the Summit may not be sufficient, per se, to guarantee success, as a number of potential pitfalls still lie ahead.
