Gaspar Drode is a Programme Assistant within the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe Programme at the European Policy Centre (EPC). 

Prior to joining the EPC, he was an events and research assistant at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation’s Competence Centre for Climate and Social Justice (FES Just Climate) in Brussels, where he conducted background research and supported the organisation of events on EU sustainable policies, including critical raw materials partnerships or EU-Turkey energy relations. He also served on the Paris City Council, where he drafted a report on sustainable river tourism on the River Seine. 

Gaspar holds a double master’s degree in Sustainability from Sciences Po Rennes and Sciences Po Grenoble (France). He completed his bachelor’s degree at Sciences Po Rennes and spent one year studying as an exchange student at Humboldt University of Berlin and six months at Rhine University of Bonn, Germany, where he attended classes on EU policy and international relations.
