Johan Bjerkem
Policy Analyst
Johan Bjerkem is a Policy Analyst at the EPC, working within the Europe's Political Economy Programme. He covers the EU Single Market, trade, industry and digital policy. Together with EPC Senior Adviser Malcolm Harbour, he is in charge of the EPC Single Market Roundtable series. He has also led several EPC projects, such as the Task Force on an ‘Industry Action Plan for the EU' and the Disruptive Technologies series. Before joining the EPC, Johan worked at the Secretariat of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies in Brussels. He has also been a trainee at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the EU Delegation to Norway. Johan graduated from the College of Europe and holds a MA in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, as well as a BA in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
