Myriam Iehl is a Programme Assistant in the Europe’s Political Economy Programme. Before joining the EPC, she completed a traineeship at the Budgetary Support Unit in the European Parliament. Previously, Myriam gained experience as an intern at Transparency International EU, where she followed anti-corruption and transparency developments within EU institutions.

Myriam obtained a bachelor’s degree in European studies from the University of Amsterdam, where her studies focused on European law and Conflict Studies. She also holds a master’s degree in European public Affairs from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Myriam is fluent in French, English and German. Her research interests include EU economic governance, budgetary policy and economic security in the context of global trade dynamics.
