Viktoria Henkemeier is a Junior Policy Analyst in the European Policy Centre’s Health and Social Resilience Programme. She works on EU social policy, particularly on housing, the demographic transition, women’s health, and gender equality, and the overall implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
Viktoria brings diverse research experience from EU institutions, the United Nations, civil society organisations, and think tanks. Prior to joining the EPC, she worked on rights-based advocacy at Victim Support Europe, inclusive youth civic engagement research at UNDP, participatory democracy and evidence-based policymaking at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, and human rights and international cooperation at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
She holds an MSc in Equality Studies from University College Dublin and a BA in English Language, Linguistics and Literature and Spanish Philology from Universität Trier, with strong expertise in qualitative and participatory research methods.
