The European Policy Centre is delighted to invite you to this in-person Breakfast Briefing with Dubravka Šuica, Vice-President for Democracy and Demography at the European Commission.
On 11 October 2023, the European Commission presented the Demography Toolbox, a comprehensive suite of strategies and interventions designed to address demographic challenges. In a rapidly ageing and changing society, what is the EU’s role in strengthening resilience while preserving competitiveness?
During this EPC Breakfast Briefing, Vice-President Šuica will reflect on the four pivotal pillars of the toolbox - parents, youth, older generations, and migration – and consider the solutions aimed at addressing the urgency of a shrinking working population and the rise of a geography of discontent.
Participation is open to EPC members only, the media, and EU officials
