This in-person EPC Policy Briefing with Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, will focus on the state of Ukraine’s EU accession process. He will examine the challenges facing both Ukraine and the EU and the potential impact of Hungary’s parliamentary elections on European support for Ukraine, accession negotiations, Russia sanctions and energy security.

Mr. Kachka will also assess whether political momentum will keep pace with reform on the ground and outline Ukraine’s priorities for the months ahead. He will discuss how the EU and Ukraine can keep accession moving forward, and what Kyiv expects from the Union as it continues to fight for an end to Russia’s aggression.
