Over the past 50 years – since the establishment of the Mission of Japan to the EU – the EU–Japan partnership has matured from trade-focused pragmatism to strategic interdependence. Today, the question is no longer whether to cooperate, but how to translate shared priorities into real resilience.

This Policy Dialogue will explore how both partners can connect the lessons of the past with the demands of the present to shape a more secure, competitive and sustainable future.
