This workshop in Sofia, organised in cooperation with the Sofia Office of the European Council on Foreign Relations(ECFR) and on behalf of the Irish Presidency of the European Union Council, the European Parliament and the European External Action Service (EEAS), explored a number of issues related to the EU's mediation capacity, including lessons learned and the challenges ahead, by engaging experts, practitioners, policymakers and representatives of the civil society, both from Bulgaria and beyond.
