EPC Talks Geopolitics: How Europe can navigate a fragmenting world
The international system is undergoing profound change. EPC Talks Geopolitics aims to help EPC members better understand and navigate an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.
In a world where geopolitical uncertainty is no longer episodic but systemic, Europe needs stronger dialogue between strategic analysis, business and policy. EPC Talks Geopolitics seeks to contribute to that conversation.
Bringing together EPC members with EPC experts, policymakers and our European and global network of partners, the initiative provides timely analysis and forward-looking discussion on:
- Geopolitical and economic trends
- European strategic interests
- Global trade and economic security
- Industrial and technology policy
- Sustainability and competitiveness and
- The evolving international order.
EPC Talks Geopolitics offers:
- Regular online geopolitical briefings
- High-level conversations with international decision-makers and business leaders and
- Special events focused on the implications of global developments for Europe and European business, such as the Annual Corporate Members Meeting.
'EPC Talks Geopolitics' builds on a discussion series that EPC launched in 2021. Over twenty 45-minute interactive conversations explored Europe’s geopolitical outlook and role in international affairs. Speakers included Catherine Ashton, former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, and Nanaia Mahuta, then Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand.
