Bianca has been working in Strategic Communication in and around EU Foreign Affairs since 2006. She joined the EPC after almost 10 years consulting the European Commission and EU Delegations in public diplomacy and civil society outreach – in the EU and across the globe.
From 2006–2013, Bianca was an EU diplomat in charge of media and communication at the EU Delegations in Syria and Ukraine. She has led EU public diplomacy projects in South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa, including the first EU Policy and Outreach Partnership project.
Part of the founding team of the Brussels-based European Endowment for Democracy (EED), Bianca worked with democracy activists in the EU Neighbourhood to promote their work and the role of the EED.
Together with PR agencies and EU officials, Bianca has organised media, civil society and VIP study visits. In Syria and Ukraine, she managed media relations during diplomatic missions of the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, EU Commissioners, the President of the European Parliament and other MEPs.
Right before joining EPC in October 2025, Bianca was the senior key communication expert for the European Commission’s (DG INTPA – International Partnerships) DEAR Programme: Development Education and Awareness Raising. In 2024 she worked closely with MEP Sophie in ’t Veld and supported Volt Europa campaigns for European Parliament, Belgian and St. Gilles elections.
Since October 2025, Bianca has been helping to maximize EPC’s impact in today's post-truth, information-flooded world. She works with EPC Programmes to build thought leadership and influence. With her Communication and Events team, she works on attracting people, especially policymakers, to read EPC publications and attend EPC events – a first step to change in EU institutions and beyond.
Bianca grew up in New York and Djibouti and identifies as European.
