Liza Saris is a Project Manager and Policy Analyst at the European Policy Centre, specialising in democratic resilience and the conditions for a thriving civil society in Europe. Through the Connecting Europe project — funded by Stiftung Mercator — she works at bridging civil society organisations and EU institutions, analysing and transnationalising policy debates on issues such as the Multiannual Financial Framework and the long-term architecture of European democracy.
Before joining the EPC, Liza designed and led EU-funded projects for organisations working at the frontlines of inclusion, democratic participation and city rights, building a European network of over 50 organisations. She holds a Master's in European Studies (Identity & Integration) from the University of Amsterdam.
