Valentina Caimi is Senior Programme Manager within the Health and Societal Resilience programme at the European Policy Centre.
She has extensive experience in EU project management, policy analysis, advice and advocacy, and team and project leadership, in EU institutions, NGOs, social economy organisations, local authorities and vocational training institutions, in Brussels and Italy. Prior to joining EPC, she led multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technical assistance and capacity building projects, and research studies as contractor of the EU institutions. Previously, she was Political Adviser of a Political Group of the European Parliament for the Employment Committee and Policy and Advocacy Adviser at Social Platform. She was also the expert of EESC President of Group III for the EESC opinion on the European Pillar of Social Rights, as well as a member of the European Commission Expert Group on Social Economy and Social Enterprises and the one on Public Procurement.
