Before joining the EPC, Eszter was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she is completing her doctorate on the political and institutional dynamics shaping climate policy and its socio-economic impacts. Her research has been published in leading international journals, including Global Environmental Politics and Environmental Research Letters.

Previously, Eszter was a policy analyst at the Budapest Institute for Policy Analysis, contributing to analysis for clients including the OECD and the European Union. She also undertook short-term projects for the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the Global Public Policy Institute, and completed a traineeship in the European Parliament's Greens/EFA Group.

Eszter holds a joint Master's degree in Public Policy from Central European University and the University of York, and a BA in International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest.
