Fenja Tramsen is a Programme Assistant in the European Politics and Institutions Programme at the European Policy Centre.

Prior to joining the EPC, Fenja worked at the EU Delegation to the UN agencies in Rome, where she supported EU member state coordination and drafted briefings on EU political priorities and institutional affairs. She has also conducted policy and governance research at the Oxford Department of International Development, Pickthall House, and the Niskanen Center, and previously served as a Princeton in Africa Fellow at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi.

Her writing has appeared in War on the Rocks, World Politics Review, and Charged Affairs, among other outlets, covering topics including European migration governance, UK foreign policy, and transatlantic relations.

She holds an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford and a BA in Political Science and History from Swarthmore College.
