Ignacio Arróniz
Programme Assistant
Ignacio Arróniz is Programme Assistant at the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe programme. His main interests lie in climate and energy policies, with a special focus on all issues related to the international dimension of the Green Deal.
He previously worked in Kreab’s leading public affairs team in Spain, and gained professional experience in the General Consulate of Spain in London. He has also volunteered as a humanitarian assistant in Lebanon and Burkina Faso.
Ignacio holds a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy Studies (IRD) from the College of Europe in Bruges (2020), which he obtained thanks to a Postgraduate Fellowship from ‘La Caixa’ Foundation. During such studies he focused on global climate politics, EU external energy policies and EU-China relations. Previously he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in European Social and Political Studies (ESPS) from University College London (2018). He also studied in Rome’s ‘La Sapienza’ University for a year.
