Jannike Wachowiak
Junior Policy Analyst
Jannike Wachowiak is a Junior Policy Analyst in the Europe’s Political Economy Programme. She joined the European Policy Centre in April 2020 and works mainly on the process of Brexit and the long-term relationship between the United Kingdom and the EU.

Before joining the EPC, Jannike worked for the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), a German political foundation, in their offices in Brussels and London. In her role in London she carried out research and managed projects on Brexit and its implications for British-German relations and EU integration. Prior to that, she gained experience working on EU enlargement and the European Neighbourhood Policy at the FES Brussels Office, and as an intern at the German Embassy in Belgrade and the German Bundestag.

Jannike holds a Joint Master’s degree in ‘European Studies: Politics, Policies, and Society’ from the University of Bath, UK and Sciences Po Paris, France as well as a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Osnabrück, Germany.
