This event, organised with the Network of European Foundations and the European Foundations’ Initiative on Dementia, will contribute to raising awareness about the importance of creating dementia services and policies that are accessible to all, including people from migrant communities in Europe. The event aims to foster a reflection on how to fill existing knowledge gaps and contribute to the EU mental health strategy. Speakers will also discuss how to promote a culture of inclusion and strengthen the health and care systems’ responses to the challenges posed by dementia and poor mental health in migrant communities.
