Both the ongoing Finnish Presidency and the incoming Croatian Presidency recognise the need to address the health challenges related to demographic changes, ensure access to health for all EU citizens and reap the benefits of new technologies in health.

At this CHES Policy Briefing, Pasi Mustonen, Counsellor for Health, Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, will reflect on the priorities and achievements of the Finnish Presidency. He will also present the health-related outcomes of the EPSCO meeting. His intervention will be followed by Tanja Milin Horvat, Attaché for Public Health and Pharmaceuticals, Permanent Representation of Croatia to the EU, who will present the Croatian Presidency’s plans in the health area. The Briefing will be chaired by Hans Martens, Chair of CHES and Senior Adviser at the European Policy Centre.
