This roundtable was the first in a series of discussions that took place in the context of the EPC-FES project entitled “EU communications on migration: perspectives and strategies”. The project sought to develop practical recommendations and tools that can help strengthen the EU’s communications on migration. Discussion at the Roudntable focused on the European citizens who are at the receiving end of communication about migration. Participants explored how to better understand EU citizen’s information needs around migration and drew preliminary conclusions as to whether these are addressed adequately.
