European Agricultural Policy and Food Security
Annika Hedberg spoke at a panel discussion on ‘European Agricultural Policy and Food Security – Do We Need a Change of Direction?’ with Marlene Mortler, MEP, Member and Rapporteur in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development in the European Parliament and Michael Niejahr, Deputy Director General for Agriculture and Rural Development at the European Commission. The discussion focused on global and European food security and the needed measures to make the European food system more resilient and sustainable. The event was organised by the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
